Tubex - Videos and Music for YouTube App Reviews

For normal YouTube browsing, I use the official YouTube app because it supports content creators and is a much more refined experience but, I use this app to listen to music, podcasts, etc. I am able to create a music playlist, play music without loading the video, and control it from the lock screen like on iTunes. I also like the looping feature and how I could loop the current song or the entire playlist so I could just leave it and do something else in another app. As a matter of fact, Im writing this review with music playing in the background. My only suggestion is to add the ability to like comments (not important but, nice thing to be able to do) and the ability to watch a video in the corner while browsing what to watch next like in the official app. Besides those two things, I would replace the official app with this 100%.

An ok app but you cant deleted vids on your list. And the pop up ads are annoying.

Love the app. Perfect for all of its functions; running videos outside of the app, finding videos and songs easily with little to no difficulty. BUT. For whatever reason, say i close the app and just wanna listen to music over spinrilla or something, the app controls my swipe-volume settings and i can not change, pause or raise/lower my volume due to this. Its pretty annoying but its straight i guess, not gonna kill me. But this app is great nonetheless, keep up the good work developers!

Its pretty cool.It did allow 2 videos to play simultaneously but was cool app for my iPhone4!

I love the fact that you can surf the net or use other apps and still have the audio playing! Much better than YT... Thanx!!!

It worked great except they removed the play in background feature which was huge for me.

No like the fact it has way far less ads than YouTube but I recently noticed sometimes when I watch one video after another the audio from the previous video dubs over the the current video. Also I wish tubex makes it so that we can search for other videos while still playing the active one like the original YouTube app.

I use this all the time its awesome you can speed it up put it on replay and You can turn your phone off while playing the music! Every week I get a new favorite song and we cant afford to keep buying them so I just use this!!! Thanks so much!

If I could give this app 10 stars I would. Tubex is so much better than YouTube, no questions asked. I highly recommend this app for everyone and anyone.

I wish I had known about this app a long time ago. This one is a keeper!

Good app. Does everything I want that YouTube cant. When you exit the app though, with the audio continuing in the background, there should be an option to let it play without having to open up the bottom menu and repressing play. As of now, it pauses when you leaves, and I have to tend to it every time instead of seamlessly switching apps. Otherwise, it is a very good app.

It was great! But ive moved on from there. Great idea, love to listen to music on this app. But i suggest putting it somewhere that isnt in plain sight. The name of the app makes it seem... Adult rated
